Welcome to the Third Hitchin (Walsworth Road Baptist Church) Scout Group Website.   You will find general information about our Beaver, Cub and Scout sections which are for Boys and Girls from the ages of 6 to 14.

 

The Group was first registered on 18 December 1929 and over the years has offered youngsters a vast range of Scouting activities and experiences.  At the start of 2009 membership totalled just over 80 young people.  We have a strong and committed Leadership, which is supported by a Group Executive Committee comprising of Parents and ex-Leaders.

 

If you have a child who is interested in joining or you have moved to Hitchin and wish to transfer membership, then please do contact us. 

 

Alternatively, maybe you were previously a Cub or Scout, are now over 18 and wish to join our Leadership team.  Please do get in contact. (All adults are required to complete a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) form).
